The care and attention that go into our "made from scratch" cookie dough are what give you the “homemade” taste and feeling. The process of making our cookie dough from beginning to end reflects the level of excellence for which we strive.
Ingredients
At Classic Cookie, we use only the finest ingredients available. We use brands such as Hershey’s ® Chocolate Chips, Quaker Oats®, and Reese’s ® Peanut Butter Chips to ensure the best taste possible. A key element in providing the homemade flavor is our use of pure vanilla, instead of imitation or artificial vanilla. All of our ingredients are ordered as they are needed to ensure freshness. Cookie dough can be refrigerated for 3 months or frozen for one year.
Packaging
Our original products and best sellers are packaged in tubs or pre-portioned boxes. The cookie dough is quality tested and then deposited into a resealable plastic tub, which is then heat sealed to ensure freshness and provide tamper evidence.
Pre-portioned cookie dough is also quality tested and then deposited in portions on a chipboard tray. The cookie dough then goes through a flash-freeze tunnel freezer to ensure that it keeps its shape and size. The trays of cookie dough are then stacked three rows high and placed in a plastic bag that is sealed with a tape band. Finally, the cookie dough is placed neatly into a reusable box.
